Caprese sandwich is classic Italian vegetarian sandwich made from pesto sauce, tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, fresh basil, balsamic glaze, seasoned with fresh ground pepper and salt. This sandwich is rich and full of flavors - crunchy, gooey, tangy and sweet. But at the same time this is very easy and quick recipe for your perfect breakfast or brunch.
I like my caprese sandwich with sour dough bread but you can choose your choice of bread. I always add arugula for extra green which is optional, but if it's handy do add arugula. Give it a try folks and I am sure it will your favorite sandwich too!!!
