Strawberry Lemonade Recipe

Tart, tasty lemonade with a sweet kick of juicy strawberries is a perfect recipe for this heated summer.  A very simple, easy yet refreshing lemonade recipe made with very common ingredients from your pantry. This drink is super rfreshing and kids friendly too.

Give this variation of lemonade a try this summer, serve chilled and Enjoy. You can make the Strawberry syrup day ahead and store refrigerated for couple of days. For fizz you canned club soda too.

Step by Step Instruction with Photos

  1. Strawberry Syrup: In a saucepan add the chunked strawberries, 1/2 cup sugar and ½ cup of water.  
  1. Give it a boil until strawberries are soft. Grind with immersion blender or strain through wide single mesh strainer. Let it cool to room temperature.
  1. Lemon syrup: In a saucepan add the lemon zest, 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cups water to a boil in a medium saucepan, stirring, until the sugar dissolves; let cool to room temperature.
  1. Make the lemonade: Combine the prepared strawberry syrup, lemon syrup, lemon juice and 2 cups cold water in a pitcher. For each drink  fill the serving glass with ice, then top with the lemonade. Served chilled.

  4. Make the lemonade: Combine the prepared strawberry syrup, lemon syrup, lemon juice and 2 cups cold water in a pitcher. For each drink  fill the serving glass with ice, then top with the lemonade. Served chilled.

Note

Adjust the amount of water and lemon juice as per your taste preference.

Store both the syrup refrigerated for couple of days. Mix cold water, lemon juice before serving and serve with ice and seltzer water or club soda.
