Easy 5 Minutes Avocado Toast Recipe

Avocado is known for its incredible nutritional value. Avocado can be eaten in numbers of ways but this avocado toast is our family favorite. Creamy avocado topped on toasted bread serves a perfect addition to breakfast or can be eaten as snack too. This healthy recipe is simple, super easy and can be prepared in 5 minutes. Avocado-Toast can be prepared with numbers of possibilities and ingredients. I am sharing my simple vegetarian version of it. Give it a try and enjoy!

Step by Step Instructions with Photos

  1. Wash the avocados, peel, scoop and mash to a chunky consistency in a bowl using fork. Or dice half piece of the avocado for chunkier texture.
  1. In a mixing bowl add mashed avocado with 1 Tbsp. of lemon juice, stir gently. Lemon juice helps the guacamole to stay fresh.
  1. Give everything a nice Mix remaining optional ingredients and adjust the salt and remaining lemon juice. and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add lemon juice and chopped coriander leaves. 
  1. You are ready serve! Wasn’t that quick?
  2. Just before serving toast the bread until crisp and golden.
  1. Butter the toast and spread generous amount of avocado mix on the top. 
  1. Sprinkle with crushed black pepper and chili flake as per your taste and enjoy!!!

Note

  • Avocado should be served immediately for best fresh taste, but can be store refrigerated in air tight container for 2-3 days. Add the seed while storing.
  • Sea salt gives a nice crunch to guacamole than table salt. Use if it’s available.
  • Avocados oxidize very quickly, thus changes its color. So, make sure to cut them in absolute last moment to ensures fresh and green pulp.
