Easy and Quick Samosa Sandwich Recipe

Sandwiches are very popular all around the world and so are Samosas. Sandwiches comes in numbers of choices, prepared using varieties of bread and stuffing. Today I am sharing with you all one of the easiest recipe to make sandwich, Samosa Sandwich. This recipe is super easy and best way to recreate something yummy with your leftover samosas. You can call this recipe leftover recipe too.

Samosa as we all know is a stuffed deep fried Indian snack recipe. Among different variety, Potato pea samosas are one of the most popular ones. Other varieties are paneer samosa, schezwan samosa, etc. To make Samosa Sandwich you can use any variety and any size of samosas. I am using here small potato stuffed samosas for this recipe. These sweet spicy-savory sandwiches are perfect combination of crispy samosa, fresh onion -tomato salad and chutneys sandwiched between soft bread. You can use any bread of your choice to make these sandwiches.

These sandwiches are my family favorite, specially whenever I make samosas. So whenever I make samosa I make it sure there are some some extras pieces leftover for next day breakfast. It’s really a quick fix after long working hours or when you are super tired and want to eat something yum. Give this easy and quick breakfast-brunch recipe a try and enjoy your samosa two ways!

Step by Step Instructions with Photos

  1. Heat the sandwich grill. Butter 4 bread slices lightly.
  2. Apply green chutney on two slices and tamarind/imli chutney on other two over the butter.
  1. Crush and place samosas over green chutney slice. Add sliced tomatoes.
  1. Next add a layer of sliced onion and sprinkle chaat masala as per your taste.
  1. Top it with tamarind/imli slice bread. Butter the outside of the sandwich flipping carefully. Grill until crisp and golden. 
  1. Cut the sandwiches in 2 or 4 pieces, garnish with sev and chopped coriander. Serve hot.
  2. Repeat the process to make rest of the sandwiches.
