Perfect Vanilla Whipped-Cream Frosting

Vanilla whipped cream frosting requires just three ingredients: Heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and Vanilla essence. This cream pipes beautifully and get along with cakes, cupcakes, fruits, cookies or as whipped cream dip.

Step by Step Instruction with Photos

  1. Chill the bowl and whisk attachment for 20 minutes in the refrigerator or 5 minutes in freezer. This will help the cream whip quickly and will increase its volume.
  1. Pour the heavy whipping cream into the bowl and whisk on medium-high speed until it just starts to thicken. 
  1. Slow the speed down to medium and gradually pour in the sugar and vanilla essence, continue to whisk until soft peaks form.
  1. Your cream is done when it holds soft peak shapes. Always make whipped cream in advance, cool it in refrigerator and later use.

Note

  • It makes two layered 9" cake.
  • Make sure to chill bowl and whisk if you have time.
  • Add flavor to whipped cream by adding extracts, liqueurs, or spices etc. just add them with the sugar.

  • Leftover whipped cream can be refrigerated covered for few days.
